Intellectly exists to give small and medium-sized businesses the same operational edge that larger organizations take for granted — through AI systems that are practical, powerful, and built around how real businesses actually work.
Small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of every local economy — and most of them are running on systems that weren't built to scale. They're talented, driven, and deeply good at what they do. What they often lack isn't skill or work ethic. It's infrastructure.
Intellectly's mission is to close that gap. By deploying AI-powered systems that handle the operational side of growth — lead capture, follow-up, communication, pipeline — we free business owners and their teams to focus on the work they're actually great at.
Every system we build uses AI to solve a real operational problem — not to impress anyone with the technology.
Systems are configured around how a business actually operates, not how a software template assumes it does.
We measure success by what changes for the client — more leads captured, faster follow-up, less chaos — not by what the platform can technically do.
Intellectly is rooted in northwest Ohio and invested in the businesses and organizations that make the region thrive.
Intellectly didn't start as an agency. It started as a question: why doesn't a good AI chatbot exist for a small business website?
Patrick Soals was running SoulTec Solutions, a northwest Ohio IT provider, when he decided to add an AI chatbot to the business website. He tried every canned solution on the market. None of them were good enough — they were generic, rigid, and did little more than route visitors to a contact form.
If the tools didn't exist, he'd build one himself.
What started as a practical fix became something more. Building that first chatbot opened up a deeper curiosity about what AI could actually do — not in a theoretical sense, but in the messy, specific, real-world context of a small business trying to serve its clients better.
The more Patrick worked with AI, the more clearly he saw the gap between what the technology was capable of and what most small businesses had access to. That gap became the business.
The first product out of that work was Intellectly Studio — a platform that lets any business owner build, train, and deploy their own AI chatbot without writing a line of code. It was the tool Patrick wished had existed when he was looking for one.
Studio is still available today, including a white label option for entrepreneurs who want to build their own AI agency on top of the same platform.
From that single chatbot, Intellectly has grown into a complete AI systems integration agency — building the infrastructure small and medium-sized businesses need to capture more leads, follow up faster, and grow without adding operational overhead.
The mission hasn't changed. The tools have just gotten much better.
